I am very pleased with my services from the staff at 7 O’Clock Dental and Dr. Tripp. The office is very clean and I was welcomed by Crystal at the front desk that made me at ease. I had a tooth that needed to be removed and I was extremely nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Tripp assured me that I would be fine. He removed the tooth and I could not believe it when he told me he was done. It was painless and extremely quick. I would recommend 7 O’Clock Dental to anyone seeking dental treatment.

The only thing we can really predict in life is that it’s unpredictable.
We can plan, prepare, or practice caution, but there are times when life throws us unexpected challenges and we have to learn to adapt.
That’s one of the great things about restorative dentistry.
With the many ways your teeth can suffer in a lifetime, it’s comforting to know you have ways to restore your smile back to beauty and health.
It also helps when you have Dr. Tripp and our team in New Orleans, LA to give you the best, most natural-looking restorations available in dentistry today.
In our blog, we’re talking about meeting various smile needs using either dental crowns, bridges, or even implants at 7 O’Clock Dental.
Meet Your Smile Needs With Crowns, Bridges, & Implants
Thanks to our modern dental office and experienced staff at 7 O’Clock Dental, you have several options to repair or replace teeth due to poor oral health, injury, and wear that can threaten your smile and health.
*You Need A Dental Crown*
One of the most popular restorations, a dental crown can be used for a host of reasons to preserve your smile and oral health.
Crowns are often relied on at the end of treatment of a decayed, infected, or damaged tooth as the cap that’s placed on top of the tooth.
They’re used for large cavities, after root canals, or just to reinforce a weakened or otherwise compromised tooth. For many years, the natural-looking dental crown will keep your tooth protected and your overall smile safe from further damage.
In many cases, crowns are used to replace a lost or extracted tooth to preserve the look of your smile and your overall function.
*You Need A Dental Bridge*
Missing a few teeth, especially if the empty spaces are sporadically located, means you could benefit from a dental bridge.
They’re given their name because they create a bridge from your healthy remaining teeth on each side of the gap where your tooth used to be.
Dental crowns cover those adjacent healthy teeth, and they’re attached to a crown in the middle that replaces the missing tooth.
Dental bridges are an affordable replacement option, and they help you get back to chewing your food easily and comfortably.
The shortcoming, though, is that a bridge doesn’t do anything to keep the jawbone underneath your lost tooth stimulated and continuously strong and healthy.
*You Need A Dental Implant*
To complete your smile after more significant tooth loss, dental implants are by far the best choice.
An implant is like a screw that’s placed inside your jawbone to replace the missing root. This is a significantly unique quality that makes implants the strongest replacement method. Once it’s placed, it begins to bond to your own bone and generate new growth as the years go by.
No other replacement behaves this way, which makes it a lasting, incredibly strong foundation for your replacement, which is usually a crown on top of the implant.
