I had a problem with… When I had to have my implant, I actually lost bone due to a sinus infection and lost a tooth, and he was able to rebuild that for me. It was a lot of pain, a lot of infection prior to the procedure. I had a gaping hole in my mouth and I stopped smiling. I could not eat on that side of my mouth, no chewing, no sticky, nothing. I had pretty much gone to a soft, bland diet. Everything aggravated that area. And like I said, I kept the sinus infection. And so it was just horrible experience; the pain, the soreness, not being able to do anything regularly. I couldn’t eat certain things; I couldn’t drink, nothing acidic. So it was a terrible experience.
It was probably a year long procedure that I had to go through. The first step was to replace the structure of my jaw. Before the implant was made, they actually had to put something there that they could anchor the tooth to. And after that, my whole life changed; that was even before the tooth. And thanks to Dr. Tripp, I now have my smile back and I can eat as I choose. I can smile; I can laugh. Before I would not open my mouth to laugh; I was embarrassed. Not to mention all the pain that I was in. Now I have no pain. I have not had a sinus infection since I’ve had the implant placed.
To me, it’s a miracle. I really didn’t think that there was anything they could do for me besides give me dentures. Because when I was told that I had lost the bone in my jaw due to the infections, I pretty much gave up. Just to be able to chew on an apple; something the doctors tell you you need. I can’t put in words what Dr. Tripp has done for me.

I came initially to 7 O’Clock Dentals to get my teeth cleaned because I haven’t done that for one and a half years. That had to be done because I care about my teeth. The thing was, due to the slight malformation of my teeth or misplacement of the teeth, plaque accumulated a lot, hard plaque, and it took them quite some time to remove this. That’s why I wanted to do Clear Correct to get my teeth straight so that the plaque does not accumulate as hard as before. So far, I’m happy with the results. I’m now on my 14th tray and it takes time, patience, and, at the beginning, some pains, but that’s normal. I think that it is a good system compared to the alternative where you have the fixed braces and you can’t eat. One of the four advantages of these are that you can just take it out, eat something, brush your teeth, pop them back in.
I did have two emergencies where a tooth broke and I was able to call the office and they were able to see me to rectify the problem. And both of those procedures were done with corrective measures, such as a crown and for the other one, an implant. As far as pain after the procedures, everything went smoothly. I didn’t develop any infection and no pain really because Dr. Tripp is so good in doing what he does that no problems were encountered. Because I’m a professional myself, I have this thing about having a nice smile and clean teeth when I present myself to the public.
My smile is very important to me. And since I’ve been coming to Dr. Tripp, I’ve had fillings, I’ve had crowns, I had an implant, I’ve had a stability bar. So with that being said, he takes care of all of my needs dentally so that I can have a perfect smile. And I even had my teeth whitened. So I’m a believer in Dr. Tripp and his staff. It means the world to me to know that he’s so caring and he’s very accommodating so that I feel that if I get in distress and I have an emergency and I can’t present myself publicly for my job, that I know I have somebody that’s willing to work with me to keep me on my job and have a nice smile or nice presentation orally to meet with people that I need to meet with.
So I’m very comfortable in knowing that my dentist is only a phone call away.
Dr. [Sharp] is phenomenal in his work, and his attentiveness when working with the clients and the assistants, the way that they assist him. And whenever he is assistant, he is attentive to my jaw whenever… I have a small jaw, and whenever he’s working on the teeth with my jaw.
They have improved my oral health by just giving me comfortability, knowing that I don’t have to deal with cavities, and that I can have a nice smile whenever without having to not have any teeth there, or anything. It’s been really good experience with that.
I had had fillings before, and then when I came in, they told me that I was going to need either an implant, or a bridge, or something to… It’s on the bottom tooth, and that. And so, we started out with coming, they extracted the tooth first, and then I had to wait for that to heal. And then I came back, and they fitted me, had to wait for the fitting, and then came back and got the implant after.
It’s great. Yeah. When I talk to my family, and stuff like that, and show them, you can’t even tell that it’s not a real, quote-unquote, “real tooth.” Just looks like it’s a part of my smile, and it’s great, and it functions really well. And, yeah, it’s great.
