Aging Smiles Need Extra Attention

Lots of things change as you get older, including your teeth and gums. September is Healthy Aging Month, which seems like a great time to remind you that aging smiles often need more attention to stay in great shape.

This short video from the American Dental Association details some of the common ways your smile changes as you get older, including receding gums, dry mouth, and dental discoloration. Getting regular exams and cleanings is more important than ever, so Dr. Tripp can monitor all of these changes and offer treatment when needed. We recommend a schedule of at least once every six months.

You may actually look forward to your exams, with our great office atmosphere that includes private care rooms, massaging chairs, and digital TV. You can also feel confident with Dr. Tripp tending to your teeth, since he is one of just 6 percent of North American dentists to have earned a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.
