How Can I Obtain the Smile I Want?

When you aren’t happy with your smile, it can have a huge impact on your sense of self! You may hide your teeth behind your hand, keep your mouth closed when you smile, or avoid social situations altogether! Thankfully, there are a wide variety of cosmetic dentistry solutions available at our New Orleans office that will get you a smile you’ll love!

Veneers can completely change your smile with wafer-thin porcelain! Veneers act a lot like false nails for your teeth!
ClearCorrect uses clear plastic aligning trays to give you great results without metal braces!
Teeth whitening done in our office can brighten your smile in just one visit! Or take your whitening trays with you and get a whiter smile in the comfort of home!

Pinhole gum recession treatment will restore your gumline without so much as a single cut or suture! Just a small pinhole-sized poke in your gums, and we’ll realign your whole gumline!

Smile makeovers are the ultimate in cosmetic treatments: a combination of any or all of our treatments! Whatever you need to get your dream smile will be part of your makeover!

What Is Preventive Dentistry?

Preventive dentistry involves the proactive approach to your oral health. Much like seeing the doctor for a physical every year, preventive dentistry involves routine appointments to clean and examine your teeth to detect any problems before they become serious.

Preventive care also involves the use of things like dental sealants and fluoride treatments to prevent and undo the damage caused by plaque acids. All our routine preventive services can be performed during your regularly scheduled appointments, so there’s no need for another trip!

How Often Should I See the Dentist?

In order to ensure the best possible level of oral health, you should see the dentist every six months for a cleaning and exam. This will allow us to remove excess plaque that you have a hard time reaching at home, and also check for potential problems before they get worse!

What Kind of Toothbrush Should I Use?

We always recommend using a soft-bristled toothbrush. Hard bristles tend to irritate your gums and can cause damage to your enamel as well. Soft bristles and proper brushing can result in great oral hygiene at home!

You should always brush your teeth for at least two minutes, holding the toothbrush at a 45 degree angle to your teeth. Make sure to get every surface of each tooth, and floss once a day, as well!
