New Orleans Dentist To Brighten Christmas Season for Local Kids
NEW ORLEANS, LA – A New Orleans cosmetic dentist will launch this season of giving by participating in a local toy giveaway and holiday event next month.
Dr. John Tripp, who operates 7 O’Clock Dental, is teaming up with iHeartMedia New Orleans to provide underprivileged children with Christmas gifts.
The 5th Annual Wendy’s Holiday Toy Drive and Giveaway, set for Dec. 5, transforms the iHeartMedia studio into a holiday extravaganza filled with Christmas spirit, toys and most importantly, the one and only Santa Claus. 7 O’Clock Dental is one of the leading sponsors for the event, and several of the office’s staff members plan to attend.
“7 O’Clock Dental is excited to participate in the upcoming Toy Giveaway with iHeartMedia. It gives us a way to show our appreciation to the community,” Dr. Tripp said. “Our staff is eager to participate and cannot wait to see the kids’ smiling faces.”
In addition to the Christmas event, 7 O’Clock Dental patients can now schedule their appointments using ZocDoc Inc., a popular online medical scheduling service. The scheduling feature allows patients to request appointments 24 hours a day.
“Twenty-four-hour appointment scheduling is a convenient way for our patients to schedule their visits at their convenience,” Dr. Tripp said. “It also allows the patient to know if the office is in network with their insurance provider.”
7 O’Clock Dental, LLC, 2101 South Claiborne Ave., Ste. F, provides quality preventive dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, wisdom tooth removal and root canal therapy.
Dr. Tripp has trained to provide patients ClearCorrect, a revolutionary cosmetic and orthodontic solution that straightens teeth without metal brackets or wires. ClearCorrect uses clear trays to gradually straighten the teeth. The treatment is virtually undetectable, and the trays can be easily removed for cleaning and eating. Dr. Tripp also uses advanced techniques to treat gum disease and gum issues. Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss and has been linked to serious problems like diabetes and heart disease. By using noninvasive and gentle treatments, Dr. Tripp can treat infections caused by gum disease and help the patient achieve a healthy smile.
Dr. Tripp recently started his own practice after working as an associate dentist for four years. Originally from Macon, Ga., Dr. Tripp earned his undergraduate degree from Xavier University of Louisiana and received his dental degree from Meharry Medical College.
Dr. Tripp uses state-of-the-art technology to ensure that patients receive the most gentle and advanced care available. The practice uses digital X-rays to reduce radiation exposure, intraoral cameras for patient diagnosis and education, and DentalVibe to provide pain-free Novocain delivery.
